Dutch Port sector review

For the second year in a row the Dutch Ministry of Transport assigned the review of the Dutch Port sector for 2005 to mtbs and RebelGroup Advisory (including its Belgian subsidiary How-To Advisory)!
Last year mtbs and RebelGroup managed to win this high profile review in strong competition. In this review, which is called the ‘Havenmonitor’ (‘Dutch Port Monitor’) the performance of the Dutch ports is analyzed through several economic indicators like the economic value added, employment and private port investments, distinguishing as well the geographical port areas in the Netherlands as the throughput and establishment functions of ports.
The analysis will be carried out under the close coordination of the Nationale Havenraad (Dutch National Ports Board), in which all of the ports in the Netherlands reside.
