Professionalization of Inland Port Management Limburg Province

MTBS is selected to assist the Dutch Province of Limburg in further professionalizing the Port Management of the inland ports of the municipalities on its territory. Limburg, bordering Germany and Belgium and strategically located along the river Meuse, has many municpalities involved in managing valuable inland port assets. In cooperation with the Province, MTBS offers the particpating municipalities a proces in which professional and state-of-the-art approaches to developing and managing inland port facilities are explored. Through intensive interactions with relevant local officials, benefits of specific inland port policy and potential cooperation are identified and a clear route for implementation is drafted.
