Port de Sète Reefer Terminal has launced a call for tender on a large, refrigerated warehouse in the Port of Sète, France. The call invites operators to submit their tenders for the warehouse, which is 40 meters from the quay and has a capacity of 15,000 pallets. The terminal can handle both pallets and reefer containers from any sourcing and meets the latest efficiency and quality criteria for the handling of perishable and dry goods. The refrigerated warehouse has been operational since 2011. The warehouse consists of 10 cold rooms and has a cooling capacity of 1,200kW. Furthermore, the adjacent quay has a length of 920 meter with 2 ship to shore cranes and 3 mobile shore cranes as well as a nearby railway platform.

This call for proposals should make all or part of the refrigerated warehouse available for the deposit and storage of dry and fresh products, primarily from maritime traffic and supplemented by land-based traffic. The operator can choose to occupy and operate the entire refrigerated warehouse, as well as the administrative offices located to the north of the building, or it can choose to occupy and operate only a part of the warehouse, which currently consists of three zones.
