African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) and its consortium partners reached financial close on the acquisition of a significant minority interest in Incorp Ltd in December 2024. Incorp Ltd is an integrated logistics business, with a focus on dry bulk handling and transport activities. Through Bulkstream Ltd, it owns and operates handling facilities in the Port of Mombasa and storage facilities in Kenya and Uganda. Importantly, Bulkstream Ltd offers an integrated solution to its clients, covering terminal handling, storage, bagging, long-distance transport and last-mile delivery. Its grain handling and storage activities profoundly contribute to the national and regional food security.
MTBS is pleased to have supported African Infrastructure Investment Managers by conducting commercial and technical due diligence. This involved analysing the market for key commodities such as grains and fertilisers, the competitive environment, tariff benchmarking, capital expenditure plan reviews and an assessment of the current operational set up at the various facilities.
