In a joint effort with Port Finance International (PFI), two MTBS experts hosted the Port Feasibility & Valuation Course in Rotterdam on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of October. MTBS and PFI were delighted to host the training course physically in our Rotterdam office, with participants fully enjoying the benefits of networking, meeting people from the ports industry, and learning from experiences shared within the group.
The 3-day course was attended by various executive-level attendees, with the objective to enable the participants to conduct a detailed Port Feasibility and Valuation Study. The main topics of the course included (PPP) feasibility, bankability, and equity valuation. In addition, participations received executive insights into the fundamentals of establishing flexible financial models to analyse these topics.
The Course builds on a combination of academic knowledge and best practice knowledge gained in MTBS’ past and active port project portfolio. The Port Feasibility and Valuations Course is one of four courses that is provided by MTBS in cooperation with PFI. MTBS and PFI additionally host the Port & Terminal Concessions Course, the Port Investments and PPP Course and the Value Driven Port Masterplanning Course.
