Welcome Boris Wenzel

We are delighted to announce that, effective July 10th, Boris Wenzel has joined the Board of Directors of Maritime & Transport Business Solutions B.V. as Executive Director. In this role, Boris will focus on building the MTBS brand and expanding its presence in the private market, with responsibilities for overseeing our M&A and transaction advisory activities.

Boris brings a wealth of experience in strategy and change management, with over 20 years in Europe and Asia as a CEO of terminals and at the helm of two Global Terminal Operator groups. He also has nearly 30 years of experience as an Executive and Non-Executive Board member in the ports sector and various other industries, representing multiple interests ranging from private equity and sovereign funds to large family conglomerates.

While joining MTBS, Boris will retain his non-executive advisory and board positions, as well as his position as President of the Terminal Industry Committee 4.0 (TIC4.0), an industry association he founded, which brings together over 60 leading global terminal operators and their suppliers.

Boris’ extensive multi-industry, multi-company, and multi-continent experience, combined with his ability to work in diverse cultural environments at both corporate and business entity levels, makes him a valuable addition to our team.
