Project Description
MTBS was engaged by the World Bank to conduct a feasibility study concerning the viability of developing and using the regional IWT network to reduce transport costs of Nepalese consignments. MTBS assessed the current practices, planned developments and projected future demand for Nepal, after which MTBS identified potential multi-modal transport options. Finally, recommendations were provided on preferred intermodal transport options, based on financial and economic evaluations.
