Project Description
MTBS has been selected by the Government of Curaçao to develop the port policy for the coming 10 years. The policy is aimed to contribute to a sustainable development of the Caribbean island economy. Comprehensive analyses covered all relevant trades such as containers, liquid bulk, dry bulk, general cargo and roro. Relating industries such as cruise/marina, dockage and free zones were also part of the scope. All relevant institutional topics were also addressed in detail in this extensive masterplan (port management, tariffs, investments planning, feasibility, and implementation plan).
