Project Description
MTBS was assigned by the CAON/EuropeAid to develop a national port masterplan for the Comoros archipelago, including the ports of Moroni, Mutsamudu and Boingoma. The studies included analyses on containers, break bulk, transhipment potential, oil products, passengers, tourism, and the fishery industry. The assignment comprised traffic forecasts, investment analyses, PPP structuring, financial modelling, operational analysis, safety and security. Following the masterplan, the European Investment Bank was engaged for concrete implementation of the action plan.
