Project Description
MTBS was hired by the World Bank to develop the national strategy to position Panama as the leading bunkering hub for green hydrogen and derivatives in Latin America. The study analysed the demand for green shipping fuels and feasibility of local production of green hydrogen and derivatives. MTBS identified import partners and infrastructure needed to support this hub. The study conducted two financial viability case studies and concluded with a roadmap, proposing incentives to accelerate progress.
