Project Description
MTBS was hired by the Nanaimo Port Authority (NPA) in a consortium, to conduct a market and feasibility study for the Phase 4 expansion of the Duke Point Terminal on Vancouver Island, Canada. As part of the project, MTBS prepared and in-depth market analysis of the Pacific North West ports landscape to identify the (non-)container volumes for Duke Point and subsequently developed a financial model to test the financial and economic feasibility.
