for the Irrawaddy River Navigation Enhancements

Project Description
MTBS was hired as part of a consortium by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Myanmar to execute an economic cost benefit analysis of the proposed navigational enhancements of the AIRBM project at the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar. This included an assessment of transport costs for truck and river transport, and direct and indirect transport cost savings resulting from the project. The assignment included local data gathering and stakeholder interviews.
