Project Description
MTBS was hired by Wasini Maritime Ltd. to conduct a feasibility study for establishing a green ship recycling and steel making facility in an area close to Shimoni, Kenya. The project is aimed at producing steel for the Kenyan market, that is cheaper than imported steel. As part of the study, MTBS conducted the full feasibility analysis, including demand forecasting, high-level design, financial modelling, project structuring and project implementation recommendations.
