for Public Transport on the Chindwin River

Project Description

MTBS was hired by RVO to conduct a financial, economic and commercial feasibility study for the implementation of public transport on the Chindwin river in Myanmar. MTBS performed an information gap analysis, prepared a demand analysis and a financial model to test project feasibility and perform a sensitivity analysis. A financial plan was developed, including a DRIVE contribution, which is a subsidy related program from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs related to the development of public infrastructure in low and medium-income countries.
