FEASIBILITY STUDY – NEW CONTAINER TERMINAL PORT OF VALENCIA

Introduction

Given its strategic position, the port of Valencia functions as both a major gateway to Spanish consumption centers, and a major transhipment port in the western Mediterranean. To overcome future capacity constraints and reinforce its role in the region, MTBS conducted a feasibility study for the development of a greenfield container terminal in the Northern Extension of the Port of Valencia in 2018. Our unique skillset enabled us to assist our client from the assessment of the economic and competitive environment of the port, through to the selection of the most appropriate project design and development of Terms and Conditions of the tender for the container terminal.
