Project Description
MTBS (as part of a consortium) was hired by the Port Authority Antwerp under a framework agreement as transaction advisor for the ‘Waterbus’ project. A new public transportation system using the river Scheldt to relief congestion on the roads. Main services included are: business case analysis, financial evaluation of the investment, bid evaluation and negotiation support. On the 1st of July 2017, the Waterbus officially started its service on the river Scheldt.
