FINANCIAL AND TRANSACTION ADVISORY SERVICES

Terminal Expansion Ringaskiddy

July 2014 – September 2014

Project Description

A consortium including MTBS has been selected to advise the Port of Cork Company on the Ringaskiddy Terminal expansion project. The objective of the assignment is to assess whether the proposed developments are viable from a strategic, operational and a financial perspective, and to assess possible PPP models. MTBS carried out a diagnostic assessment of the port, a SWOT analysis, a traffic forecast, a revenue, opex and capex planning assessment and MTBS advised on possible PPP and cooperation models and their strategic impact. The results served as input for a successful TEN-T application at the EU. MTBS has been engaged further in the project for implementation of the project.
