Lake Victoria and Eastern Africa Corridors

Project Description
MTBS was hired by the World Bank to conduct a freight flow logistics study for Lake Victoria and the Eastern Africa corridors. MTBS performed a diagnostics analysis, an institutional and policy framework assessment, prepared a corridor traffic forecast on an inter- and intra-regional level, an infrastructure assessment, a cost-chain analysis and prepared a benchmark on regional and best practice corridors. Based on this MTBS provided recommendations on initiatives and developed a road map for the 10-year development policy framework.
