Project Description
MTBS was hired as part of a consortium to assist Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) in determining the general strategies for the development of three existing ports (Doha, Shuwaikh, Shuaiba) and a new greenfield port. The assignment includes among others: assessment of maritime traffic, study of proposed projects for Kuwait ports, feasibility study for the establishment of a future port, strategies of Kuwait ports to face the future maritime traffic, study of measures for application of ISPS code and a study of environmental measures.
