Project Description
MTBS was hired by the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH) to do a global study on the port infrastructure investment requirements for developing nations. MTBS conducted a number of interviews with port authorities in developing nations, port financiers and port experts to determine the investment requirements for sustainability and client resilience. The outcome of this study was presented to the International Maritime Organisation (IMO)and International Association of Ports and Harbours Wolrd Port Conference as input into its carbon pricing mechanism for shipping.
