Project Description
A consortium including MTBS carried out this study, issued by the European Union, and based on five main activities: a market analysis for the Black Sea region; determination of the potential of public-private partnerships (PPP) for future port expansion and rehabilitation projects; an analysis of the safety & security protocols in 11 ports; a pilot project for a Black Sea-wide port community system (PCS) involving the ports of Poti (Georgia) and Varna (Bulgaria); and a feasibility study for a rail-ferry terminal in the port of Samsun (Turkey).
