Project Description
For the Nigerian Federal and Akwa Ibom State Governments, MTBS executed the initial due diligence for the Ibom deep-sea port project. This greenfield port is located in the south-east of Nigeria. The study assessed the initial feasibility of this greenfield port project from an economic, financial, technical and legal perspective. Main activities included establishing trade forecasts, development options for the port, PPP structuring and the project’s funding and financing strategies based on a preliminary business case.
