MTBS was hired by a port operator to assist with the definition of the international expansion strategy in Africa. The assignment included the development of a methodology to identify merger & acquisition targets for the operator. In phase 2, the team conducted high-level assessments of the identified M&A targets. These high-level assessments included the market due diligence and the preliminary financial due diligence of the targets. For each target, MTBS developed a financial model and a due diligence report.
