Project Description
MTBS was assigned by TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) to advise on strategic interventions in the logistics services market in East African countries. The goal of the project was to assure lower transport costs and poverty reduction, by improving the position of small producers. The scope included a market analysis, the identification of logistical constraints and the determination of strategic interventions to resolve these constraints. The main deliverable of the assignment was a 5 year logistic strategic intervention programme and an investment plan of projects.
