MTBS was engaged by Hutchison Ports Sohar to assess the market potential of the Port of Khasab, located in Oman’s Musandam Governorate. The assignment comprised a detailed identification, assessment, and quantification of potential opportunities related to cruises, cargo handling, bunkering, marine services, yachts, and STS services. The primary objective of the study was to assess how the port could be best utilized from an Omani national perspective and its significance within Hutchison Port’s Sohar master planning process.
