Project Description

MTBS was hired by the National Company “Maritime Ports Administration” S.A. Constanta (MPA) to prepare a revision of the masterplan for the port of Constanta including the ports of Midia and Mangalia. The study consisted of many disciplines which are presented at masterplanning including: rail and road developments, port/terminal project developments, infrastructure maintenance, rehabilitation and modernization projects, climate change effects, innovation & digitization strategy, environmental protection strategy, pre-feasibility development projects, EU energy transition strategies and port city developments. The study was concluded with recommendations on financing sources, project planning and an implementation plan.
