Project Description

The port of Duqm is a greenfield port at the southern coast of Oman, located at the Indian Ocean. New commercial quays are under development for containers, dry bulk, liquid bulk and general cargo. MTBS was hired to develop a business plan for the period 2016 untill 2020. The project included a traffic forecast, a vessel forecast, a competitive analysis on free trade zones, a competitive analysis for business units such as multi-purpose, containers, liquid bulk and dry bulk and a financial business plan for each business unit including detailed capex, opex and revenue calculations and a profit loss statement.
