Project Description

The Inland Waterways Authority of India has hired a consortium including MTBS to develop an asset management and operational framework for the National Waterway 1 project along the river Ganges. This project focuses on the development of multi-modal terminals for inland waterway transport between Varanasi and the seaport of Haldia. MTBS was responsible for an assessment of the required assets along the river, for developing a PPP strategy and providing transaction advisory services.
