Project Description

MTBS was hired by the World Bank to assist Bangladesh’s Ministry of Shipping in optimising the development and private sector participation in the Chittagong port. Services provided by MTBS included an extensive analysis of Chittagong port’s efficiency and competitiveness to serve as Bangladesh’s main gateway port and regional hub. Furthermore, MTBS assisted in the preparation of an updated legal and regulatory framework to enable successful PPP implementation in the Bangladesh port sector.
