AIRPORT & PORT FEASIBILITY STUDY
Salalah
May 2015 – August 2015
Project Description
MTBS was contracted by a group of local investors to identify and select investment opportunities in Salalah and the Dhofar Region, Oman. The opportunities would connect to the region’s container port, the free trade zone, the new international airport and the future GCC railway. Opportunities for sea-air solutions were explored, while both local demand and footloose opportunities were investigated from various perspectives, including market demand, technical feasibility, financial and economic returns, bankability and business risk.
