Project Description

JICA, the Japan International Cooperation Agency appointed a joint venture including MTBS for the “Special Assistance for Project Sustainability on the Burgas Port Expansion project”. Based on comprehensive market analyses for the bulk and container sector and competitive ports benchmarking, MTBS recommended a new utilization plan for the existing bulk terminal 2A and the to-be-built terminal for containers. Recommendations comprised amongst others a transaction implementation strategy and PPP-options.
