Project Description

MTBS was engaged by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to develop a comprehensive national port masterplan for the Sri Lanka Ports Authority. The study comprised, inter alia, the development of a national port sector strategy and the provision of in-depth development plans for the ports of Colombo and Trincomalee. MTBS provided services related to strategic analysis, market assessment and traffic forecasting, organisational advice, financial and economic modelling, port operations analysis, port masterplanning, warehousing and logstics, ICT port community and (PPP) project implementation options.
