STRATEGIC AGREEMENT
between Forth Ports and Port of Zeebrugge
January 2013 – March 2013
Project Description
In a previous assignment a market analysis has been delivered by MTBS to London Container Terminal (LCT). One of the most promising short term recommendations for LCT was to cooperate with the port of Zeebrugge to attract Far-East container cargo. The objective of the assignment was to determine whether a cooperation between the port of Zeebrugge and LCT is viable and in the event of a positive decision to establish this cooperation. In the meantime the strategic partnership has been established and the service between the two ports is aimed to start in 2013.
