Project Description
MTBS has been assigned by the Dutch Seaport Alliance of the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zeeland and Groningen together with the Departments of Infrastructure and Economy, to advise and assist the port authorities to indentify strategic cooperation opportunities between these four major Dutch seaports. The objective of the project was to determine the main effects of cooperation and market focus on the competitive position of the Dutch seaports in the Hamburg – Le Havre range. The project resulted in a 10-point action plan implemented by the Dutch Seaport Alliance.
