Project Description

A consortium, including MTBS, was assigned by the World Bank and the East Africa Community Secretariat for the preparation of a regional transport intermodal strategy and action plan for the Northern and Central Corridor. The analyses included: an assessment of the current physical and institutional situation capacity; creating and sifting development options; a stakeholder’s workshop; corridor traffic projections; financial and economic appraisal for the priority development options; a framework for the ex post impact evaluation and screening of the environmental and social impacts.
