Project Description
MTBS was hired by the Maputo Port Development Company (MPDC) to forecast and identify business opportunities within local markets in Southern Mozambique and transit volumes in regional countries. In total, over 20 cargo streams were analysed and forecasted for the coming 25 years. The project included an elaborate stakeholder consultation, supply chain cost assessments and macro-economic analysis. The project started right after MPDC’s concession extension to 2058 with a USD 2 billion investment.
