Project Description

Transnet assigned MTBS as transaction advisor for the greenfield Durban Dig-out Port development with container terminals, liquid bulk and roro. Phase 1 activities comprised of the commercial, technical, financial, institutional and legal due diligence, including value engineering. The next phase concerned the project structuring with the recommendations for the preferred port business model. The final phase included a transaction strategy, market consultations, and the preparation or the transaction documents.
