MTBS respects your personal data and ensures that the personal information provided to us or obtained otherwise will be treated with confidentiality. Under personal data is understood all information about a person. Data referring to a person in an indirect way is considered personal data as well. According to the information below, the obligation to inform as laid down in the GDPR will be performed on the persons concerned whose personal data are processed by MTBS.

Control and communication

MTBS processes personal data in order to provide and improve services and communicate with you as a stakeholder. In the context of our services MTBS frequently hires a third party. You as a stakeholder decide whether or not to leave behind your personal data for this purpose. You can also subscribe or unsubscribe to newsletters or other forms of communication by MTBS.

Objective of the processing of personal data

MTBS processes the personal data mentioned below exclusively for the following purposes:

  • a good and efficient service;
  • monitoring the sales process;
  • invoicing and cashing claims;
  • defining proposals and commercial targets;
  • advising, mediation and referral;

Which personal data will be processed?

MTBS processes the following (types or categories) personal data for the service or those provided at the stakeholder´s own initiative:

Contact details of customers and suppliers, leads, project details, LOSPs (Letters of Satisfactory Performance)

MTBS processes this personal data because these have been provided by you as a stakeholder at your own initiative, have been obtained in the context of the service provided, have been disclosed to us by thirds, including counterparties or have been publicly released.

Personal data processing principle

MTBS processes the above mentioned personal data exclusively on the basis of following grounds as referred to in article 6 of the GDPR:

  • legal obligation;
  • execution of an agreement;
  • permission obtained by stakeholder(s), for example, in the case of courses to be offered by MTBS;

Sharing personal data with thirds

MTBS only shares your personal data with third parties insofar these are necessary for the service in compliance with the aforementioned purposes. You could think of hiring another third party on behalf and by order of MTBS, such as an IT-supplier, but also sub consultants who are hired for the execution of the assignment.

Furthermore, MTBS can pass on personal data to a third party, such as a supervisor or another publicly authorized body, as long as a legal obligation exists to do so.

With the third party, which on behalf and by order of MTBS, processes your personal data, a processing agreement will be established by means of which that third party will also be held to comply with the GDPR. Third parties hired by MTBS, who offer their services as a Controller, are for the (further) processing of your personal data severally responsible for their compliance with the GDPR. You could think of an accountant, notary or another party hired for the sake of the execution of the assignment.

Personal Data Protection

MTBS attaches great importance to the security and protection of your personal data and ensures, taking into account the state of the art, suitable technical and organizational measures in order to guarantee a level of security customized to the possible risks. In case MTBS uses services provided by third parties, such as an IT-supplier, MTBS will, in the context of personal data protection, establish arrangements about sufficient security measures in a processing agreement.

Retention period for personal data

MTBS retains personal data being processed for no longer than necessary for the aforementioned purposes of data processing or for what is required in the virtue of laws and regulations.

Stakeholders´ privacy rights

You can send a request for perusal, correction, restriction, resistance, transferability of data, deletion of your personal data or retraction of the permission given before, using the contact details mentioned below. You will receive further notice from us within four weeks after receipt of your request.

Circumstances might arise in which MTBS will not be (fully) able to fulfil your request as person concerned. You could think of the legal retention periods.

In order to ensure providing, on the basis of your request, the relevant personal data to the right person, we will, for verification purposes, ask you to include a copy of a valid passport, driving license or identification with a protected passport photo and BSN-number. MTBS will only handle requests concerning your own personal data.

Statistics and cookies

MTBS keeps track of data usage for the website(s) for statistical purposes. The personal data collected in this manner are anonymous in principle and will not be sold by MTBS to thirds.
