On Tuesday, April 24, 2024, AD Ports Group announced the signing of agreements with the Luanda Port Authority to manage and enhance the multipurpose terminal, formerly known as Unicargas. MTBS is pleased to have supported AD Ports Group in this promising initiative by providing a Commercial Due Diligence Study.

The Port of Luanda serves as Angola’s primary access point and plays a critical role in facilitating trade for the country’s sixth largest economy in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Multipurpose Terminal is a key facility for the handling of containers, vehicles, and breakbulk cargo. AD Ports Group will invest over $251 million to significantly improve the terminal’s capacity and operational efficiency.
